In an attempt to help people plan ahead we shall list any roadworks that the Community Council are made aware of that will have a direct affect on the village or surrounding roads.

Repairs to the damaged bridge at Balfron Station will beging 18th September 2017 and the section of the A81 will be closed for a period of three months.

October 2nd - October 6th 2017

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (B818, Fintry) (Temporary Closure - Amendment) Order 2017 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 8-9-17.

The ORDER will close:-
B818 From its junction with the B822 to its junction with the C10 from 0900 hours until 1700 hours from 2-10-17 until 6-10-17 to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works.

Emergency service access will be maintained

Alternative Routes: Via B822, A811, Dumbarton Road, Queen Road, Victoria Place, Kings Park Road, Snowdon Place, St Ninians Road, Newhouse, Randolph Terrace, Borestone Crescent, Glasgow Road, Fairhill Road, C10 New Line Road and vice versa
